My main field of research is the chemistry of star and planetary system formation. I have been working with physico-chemists over the last 5 years to improve our knowledge of chemical rate coefficients important for the interstellar medium. In this respect, I developed tools to identify the "key reactions" among the thousands of reactions used to study the ISM chemistry. I am also PI of an online database KIDA (http://kida.obs.u-bordeaux1.fr) of reaction rate coefficient for the ISM and planetary atmosphere.
